FEES
The centre follows fee guidelines set by the Department of Family Services. If fees are subject to change as per their recommendation, the parents will be given at least two weeks notice and the change will occur at the beginning of a billing period.
Effective April 3, 2023,
Child Care Fees are as follows:
Infants:
Full day: $10.00 Half day: $5.00 (if available)
Preschoolers:
Full day: $10.00 Half day: $5.00 (if available)
School-Age:
Full day: $20.80 Half day: $10.40 2 periods: $8.60 1 period: $6.15
Fees are due at the beginning of each four week billing period as outlined by Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Program. Parents may pay the entire four week period when given their invoice or may choose bi-weekly payments. If full payment is not received by the expected due date, you will receive a notice indicating your payment is overdue and an interest charge of 2% per month will be added to the overdue account.
Parents will be allowed to cancel five (5) days during the calendar years, at no cost to them as long as the center is given two weeks notice.
Parents will be charged full fees for their children's regular scheduled days if they fall on recognized holidays. Ex. New Year's Day, Louis Riel Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Terry Fox Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. These days may not be cancelled.
Provincial Subsidies:
A provincial government subsidy is available to cover the cost of childcare fees. The provincial subsidy is based on the net family income and is available to families who qualify. Applications can be completed online at www.gov.mb.ca/childcare. follow the link to the subsidy online service.
